I'm 1 month old today!!!

We can't believe that our baby is already 1 month old today!!! Time goes by so quickly and he changes so much every day! Kellen likes to look around alot more now. He will look at you while you are talking to him and is able to actually focus on things now! He also loves making lots of new noises which mainly come in the form of loud grunts and sighs. Finally, we love when he smiles (even if it is still the gas that makes him do it!)....now, we are just waiting for the overnight sleeping to happen!

Here are some pictures of Kellen on his first walk with mommy and daddy in his new stroller. There are also pictures of him relaxing with his daddy - what can I say - the walk just took it out of both of them!

Look at me in my big boy clothes!

Today we put Kellen in "real clothes" for the first time...up until today, he has been in his sleepers. As you can see, he looks really cute all dressed up in his new outfit! Of course, he was very tired after a day of playing in his swing and wearing a new outfit...so, as you can see in the last picture, he was all tuckered out after a feeding!

Swing Time and Visit from Grandma

Here is Kellen trying out his swing for the first time...he did very well in it but only lasted about 5 minutes before he was bored and needed a break from all the fun!

Also, here is Kellen hanging out with his grandma during one of her visits...Kellen loves seeing his grandma and as you can see, grandma definately enjoys her time with Kellen too!

Daddy's Little Helper

One of Kellen's favourite sleepers is his "Daddy's Little Helper" sleeper...here he is sporting the outfit....he's going to make a great little helper for his daddy in the future!

Kellen - the great thinker

Once Kellen eats, he often likes to just hang out for about 10 minutes in what I refer to as his "pondering life" pose. I think we have a great thinker on our hands!

The lazy burper

Kellen hates to be burped...mainly because he is usually fast asleep by the time he finishes his feeding. Here is a picture of Kellen sleeping when he is supposed to be burping! It's such a cute face he makes!

Finally....he sleeps!

For those of you who have heard about Kellen's crazy all night fussy periods, we are very happy to report that last night Kellen FINALLY slept!!! He fed at 12:30 and not again until 3:30 then not again until 6:30am...yeah!! I know it still sounds like not alot of sleep, but to Shawn and I, it is heaven sent!! Here's hoping this becomes more of the norm!

Here are some pictures of Kellen sleeping; Kellen giving mommy a high five for feeding time and the famous "baby has some gas" smile! Yep, we just can't get enough of him!

Kellen and his Daddy

Kellen has been so lucky to be able to spend lots of time with his daddy for the past few weeks as Shawn was able to take some time off of work to be with Kellen and help me out with the everyday stuff. Here are some pictures of my two boys! Can you tell how much they love each other!!

Kellen being cute

Since we have taken about 1000 pictures of Kellen already, I thought I would post some extra pictures of Kellen being an ultra cute little baby! I thought I would add some pictures of him awake because it rarely happens (except at night of course!).

Kellen's first bath and visit with Abuelita

Kellen handled his first bath very well...after the shock of the water hit him, he stayed very calm for the entire bath!! What a good baby! He has also been enjoying having his Abuelita visiting us for the past week!!! He says thank you for all of her help and is going to miss her very much!

Kellen's First 2 weeks

Here are some pictures of Kellen during his first two weeks...he was born March 1, 2008 (3 weeks early) and weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces. He has been a great baby and we have loved every minute...well, minus his fussy periods that seem to last from 10pm to 3am every night! He is already over 7 pounds and seems to be growing every day!

Here are some pictures of Kellen in the hospital and his first days at home..and some pictures of him with Grampa D and Abuelita as well as Auntie Cindy and cousin Alyjah!
