Wii Obsession - It Runs in the Family
This is the sight of our home most nights - the moment that Shawn walks through the door, Kellen becomes super excited to play "Mario-Round" with Shawn (it is Mario Brothers on Wii). They started this trend a couple of weeks ago, and now play every night together. It is actually pretty cute to see how excited Kellen gets to do this with his Daddy - it is their "thing" to do right now!

Tired After A Long Day of Playing
Finally - Kellen eats Jam!!!
As everyone knows, Kellen is not one for any type of sauces. He likes everything plain. He has started to like peanut butter and jam sandwiches, as well as cheese sandwiches (but they have to be made with very thin layers of jam, peanut butter, or mayonnaise). Last week, Kellen and I were having breakfast together and we decided to have toast and cuties. I put jam on my toast, and finally got Kellen to try my toast....well, he absolutely loved it! So, we put jam on his toast, and he loved every single bite! Needless to say, he has been asking for toast and jam a lot these days!
Enjoying the Snow with Lita!
Over Kellen's birthday weekend, Lita stayed for a couple of days. We had a good snow fall, so Lita and Kellen decided it would be fun to play in the snow! Here are some pictures of them building their snow tower!
Good job guys! Kellen has a stick that he used to top his snow tower. He says that the stick is just like Grandpa's stick (Grandpa's cane) - he even walks around with it and says that he is just like Grandpa. If only Grandpa were here to see how his grandson remembers him.

Kellen's 4th Birthday Party
Last weekend, we celebrated Kellen's 4th birthday party! Kellen was so excited for his birthday party - he could barely contain his excitement! We decided to have his birthday party at a play place called Rainbow World. Kellen has been to other birthday parties there in the past, and has always enjoyed himself. Kellen had 6 of his friends from daycare join us this year, which was fun!
Above are pictures of Parker hanging out with Auntie April. There were air guns that made some pretty loud noises, which scared Parker. So, he needed some cuddles. Luckily, the air guns were quickly turned off!
And, Lauren seemed to have a great time crawling around - she really liked a little slide that lit up with cool lights!
Kellen had lots of fun on this cool swing set - these drop balls spin around, and the kids have to hold on while it spins!
Some of Kellen's friends (Sophie and Liam) were having fun on the little slide too!
Kellen having fun in the little ball pit!
Liam and Kane having fun in the jumping castle!
Uncle Garrett helping out Lauren - I think she was trying out the ball swings!
Inside the kids climbing gym, was a super cool machine that shoots foam balls into the air...the kids were mesmerized by it!
Sophie and Liam running through the kids area.
Caden checking out the little ball pit.
Lauren hanging out near her favourite slide.
Alyjah, Cameron, and Grandpa Sinclair having some yummy pizza!
Lita, Lauren, and Auntie April having lunch.
Kellen and his friends all sitting together to have their pizza lunch (with lots of treats of chips, fruit, and veggies).
Kids being kids.
Happy birthday, Kellen!!!!!
He was so happy to have everyone singing "happy birthday" to him!
Yummy birthday cake!
Grandma and Cameron hanging out.
John and Sophie on the ball swings....check out the crazy moves by Sophie!
John and Cameron playing a very serious game of air hockey!
Lita on duty - she was in charge of collecting all the foam balls for the ball machine!
John on a large bouncy ball.
Kellen and Sophie had a blast running through the kids area together.
Parker really enjoyed watching all the balls fly into the air! He would have Lita collect the balls, and when the bin was full, he would press the button to turn on the machine....they did this many, many times!
Janna-Marie standing in the middle of the flying balls!
A very happy birthday boy!
Kane and Sophie playing hop-scotch.
Another very serious game of air hockey!
Here is John trying to give Kellen a hug goodbye - but Kellen was too interested in handing out the rest of the lootbags to his other friends!
When we got home, it was time for Kellen to open all of his presents!
Here is Lita helping him out with the presents.
....and here is Kellen enjoying some of his new toys!
