Centreville Island Fun!

On Sunday, we went to Centreville Island with the Moore family. I had forgotten that I had been here when I was just a kid - but it all came back to me once I saw the Island.

Kellen thought the ferry was the biggest, coolest boat in the world. He was amazed by the fact that it was moving on the water.
I think they are excited.
Not sure what to think of this ferry ride.
Feeling a bit more comfortable on the ferry and having some laughs with Caden!
The first ride the boys wanted to go on when we arrived at Centreville Island was the little train that takes you for a tour around the Island......Kellen was so cute - he honestly thought that he was on a real train!
Our little train.
Another ride that Kellen loved (he went on about 10 times!) was the little fire trucks that went along a small track. He is so cute - again, he honestly thought that he was steering his truck! Whenever you watched him, he was being so serious and watching the track while steering his truck!
Kellen thought it would be fun if Caden came for a ride on his fire truck - They looked adorable together!
Best friends.
Going on the old fashion cars with Mommy.
Raymond and Caden enjoying their ride together.
Mommy, Sharlene, and the boys hanging out.
Two little boys having fun together.
Eagerly showing Daddy where he wants to go next.
By far, this was Kellen's favourite ride - the giant log ride that travels through the water! He loved how fast it goes up and down the big hill and then splashes into the water! Poor Shawn ended up having to go on this ride many, many times!
"I LOVE THIS!!!!"
"Let's do it again!"
Waiting in line for a ride.
Our family.
Checking out something they found interesting together. Notice how they are holding hands...how cute are they?!?!?
They look like to little old men riding along in their car together.

Here are Kellen and Caden happily enjoying their ride on the little boats.....
....And this is the picture right before all hell broke loose - they began fighting over the bell and where pushing each other, crying, yelling, etc. It was utterly embarrassing (and yet funny) to watch. Luckily, it ended quickly and they were fine again.
Needing some quiet time with Daddy after the big fight. The boys were getting pretty tired at this point.
Feeding the ducks and swans.

Kellen fell asleep pretty quickly on the way home....all that fun just wore him out!

Dalton's Birthday Party

This past weekend, Kellen went to his friend, Dalton's, birthday party. Dalton is in Kellen's daycare room. Kellen has been pretty excited to go to this party, so we thought it was time to let him start going to birthday parties. They had his birthday party at Rainbow World Play, which is a super cool play area in Ajax.

Here is Kellen all dressed up and super excited to head out to his friends party!
Kellen really had fun in the toddler ball pit - he stayed there for a good 10 minutes after we arrived at the birthday party.

There were lots of kids there (about 18!) and it seemed that every kid had 1-2 parents with them...so, there were lots of people there!
Checking out a cool tunnel.
Crawling through a cool little tunnel that lit up.
....And that tunnel was under a really cool, lit up, slide!
Ahh, the ball pit!
Kellen, Hannah, and Sophie, had a blast jumping into the toddler ball pit....
....and then would go their separate ways on their way out of the ball pit.
Having fun on the little slide.
A view of the "big kids" play area (you have to be at least 2 years old!).
Mesmerized by this cool machine that shoots the balls up into the air.
Playing with some toys with Sophie.
Kellen just loved playing in the giant ball pit! His friend, Ethan, from daycare was having fun too!
Still having fun watching the balls fly through the air.
The climbing area was pretty big, and there were lots of different slides that you could take back down....here is Kellen climbing up to the top!
This was a super cool machine. There were a bunch of these ropes with a ball at the end....and they were all swinging around the centre pole. Some kids could actually just jump on to their ball, but Kellen needed a bit of help getting up....but once he was on....
....WooHoo!!!!!
Having lots of fun in the jumping castle with his friends Sophie and Hannah.
It is time to eat! All the kids were brought into the main room for yummy pizza, chips, lots of fruits, and juice! Naturally, Kellen took about 3 bites of his pizza and had 3 plates of fruit! He was also pretty excited about his noise maker!
Enjoying dinner with his friends.
Everyone getting ready to sing "Happy Birthday" to the birthday boy, Dalton!
Just relaxing.
At the end of the birthday party, Dalton gave each of his guests one of these super cool backpacks - We had a great time at Dalton's birthday party! And, we would suggest the Rainbow World Play to anyone!
