Look What I Can Do!!!

"Smile!?!?" I just have to to laugh everytime he makes this cute face!!!

After he was running around the table for the 10th time, he stopped to give me a quick "hello" and to tell me his name....if you ask him what his name is, he will say, "Kellen"....if you ask what his last name is, he says, "Sinclair". Genius!

"Look at my smile, Mommy!!"

In the middle of a deep conversation about Dora the Explorer....

Kellen loves to climb over your legs....he will either just climb over them, or he will stop and want you to bounce him (playing "horsey"). Here he is in the middle of giving me one of his famous smiles and climbing over Shawn's legs.

After building a fort with the cushions from the couch, Kellen tried to walk across the top of his fort....however, daddy was quick to say "get down" and so Kellen proceded to roll down his fort onto Shawn's lap!

Lately, Kellen will do everything that Shawn does.....he noticed that Shawn had his feet up on the table, so here he is trying to do the same thing! It was pretty cute to watch!

Here is Kellen telling me that he wants me to follow him as he climbs up on Shawn's leg to play "horsey".....after seeing the look of horror on Shawn's face, I told Kellen that it might be better if I just stay where I am and take pictures of him!!

All in a day's work...

Kellen LOVES to do arts and crafts! Luckily, his daycare does lots of activities where he can paint, draw, and make lots of fun things! Here he is very proud of a "hat" he made at daycare! He loved showing us how to wear it and kept reminding us that "I made it!"....too cute!!

Here is Kellen relaxing on his super cool bean bag chair! (and giving me a half smile)!


We bought some Baby Einstein videos when Kellen was super young because we had heard great things about them.....well, we were right! Kellen still loves the videos (more now than when he was a little baby)...he gets completely transfixed on the videos....here he is glued to the television set while watching a section on shapes.


Whew....all those shapes made me thirsty! He had to blunker down on his chair and enjoy his sippy! (while deep in thought)

Happy Birthday, Daddy!!!

February 3rd was Shawn's birthday! So, for his birthday, Kellen and I got pizza for dinner (daddy's favourite!!) and had a yummy cake!!! Well, Kellen was fascinated with the cake (he loved the cherries and whip cream.....who wouldn't!?!?) and kept digging in and just eating the cake directly off the tray! It was pretty fun to watch!

"You guys go ahead...I don't need a plate - I'm good just like this!"

"Happy Birthday, Daddy! I love you!!" Kellen was super excited to celebrate Shawn's birthday..on the way home from daycare, we went to get a cake and a present from Kellen to give to Shawn (Tim Horton's gift card)...Kellen kept looking out the window waiting for Shawn to come home so that he could give him his card and present. The moment Shawn got home, Kellen was so excited that he was screaming "Daddy!!!" and practically threw the gift at him! It was pretty funny!

A little of this and a little of that....

Here is Kellen making his smiley face at the television...I really can't remember why exactly he was doing this, but he looks pretty darn cute!

Shawn bought Kellen a little bean bag chair! Kellen just loves it! When he gets home from daycare, he pulls his bean bag chair out from the corner and says "my chair" and just plops right down on it!! Here he is checking out a flashlight while eating grapes (which he is obsessed with these days....he eats a "package" of grapes every couple of days!!)

Shawn and Kellen know that safety is essential when working with tools....so, I bought them matching hard hats! Kellen thinks it is super fun to wear his hat when working with his "tools"...it is more fun to watch Shawn having to wear the hat!

Shawn bought a milkshake the other day, and Kellen went crazy for it! Here he is loving every single drop of the milkshake!!

Saturday Morning Gymnastics are FUN!!!!

Taking a big leap off of a jumping board! Kellen loves anything to do with jumping, climbing, swinging, rolling....basically, he LOVES his gymnastics class!

Check out Kellen going through a hoolahoop on his way to some mat where he jumps around like a true gymnast!!


...and right up onto the mats for a couple of jumps and log rolls...woo hoo!!!

Okay, the pictures of Shawn and Kellen doing things are a bit blurry - because...I wasn't allowed to take pictures during the gymnastics lesson so I didn't use a flash...and Kellen moves around alot....so, the pictures didn't exactly turn out tooo well!

The gymnastics area is huge! Here are some pictures of the three main areas that Kellen goes through during his gymnastics! It is lots of fun!!!

Kellen has a blast every Saturday morning! Caden is there with him, and they are just too funny to watch together! Kellen especially loves the mats that are put together for climbing through!

Flashlight Fun and Smiles!

Running to the door to greet Daddy! Everyday, Kellen sits on the couch and looks out the window for Shawn's car. The moment he sees Shawn pull into the driveway, he goes crazy with excitement! He keeps calling for Daddy and runs to the door to greet him! Ahhh!!

Shawn lets Kellen play with this little flashlight...Kellen loves to shine it at things and gets super excited to turn it off and on! Here he is mid-excitement!

He must really like the flashlight...check out the smile!!!

....this is a smile and scrunchie face combined together!!! It's a new look that Kellen's trying out...I think it's pretty darn cute!!
