Computer Genius (and checking out my wallet!)

Kellen LOVES to go through my wallet....I am not quite sure what the fascination is with it, but he loves it! The moment he sees my wallet sitting near the stairs, he will say, "I open momma's wallet?"....so, here he is checking it out.

We have come the conclusion that Kellen is a computer genius! Here he is playing a video game on the computer (a Dora the Explorer game!). He loves the nickelodeon website because you can play games, draw or colour pictures, make sticker pages, etc with any of your favourite shows! Kellen totally knows how to use the computer mouse and when to "click" on certain things on the screen.....I'm telling you, he's a genius!!!

....and putting his concentration back on the game!

Distractions While on a Walk

Kellen continues to love taking his bike out for our walks....he is actually getting really good at pedalling all by himself! If you take your hands off the bar (that controls the bike) he can actually keep going!

But, then we need to visit the pond and throw rocks into the water....Kellen is super funny when he throws anything - he has the worst aim in the world! (sorry, Kellen!) so you never quite know where the rock is going!

....then, there is the little red car that became part of the road....everytime we walk by, Kellen will sit down and try to get the little car out.

....and we still continue to try and get this little car out....

Must Love Dogs!

Whenever we go for a walk after dinner, we walk by a house that has the cutest little dog! Naturally, Kellen is very interested in the little dog and always has to stop in to play with him! I think the dog likes Kellen because the moment we walk by, the dog gets super excited and comes down the stairs to meet up with us!

....and Kellen quickly gets right into it and rubs the dogs belly....we usually play with the dog for a couple of minutes and then it's off on more adventures!

Enjoying some Fruit....

Kellen LOVES fruit...if it were up to him, he would only eat fruit, meat, chips (just like his mother) and chocolate (just like his father)....good thing we try to limit the last two items! But seriously, he eats about 2 pints of strawberries, a couple of bananas, a bag of grapes, and about 5 apples a week (as well as anything else we might have around)...this kid is starting to cost us alot of money!

Here he is off in his own la-la land while eating grapes (and ignoring his grilled cheese sandwich).

Happy Times Between Best Friends...

Here are a couple of pictures from a dinner visit we had with The Moore family. Kellen and Caden continue to love spending time together and frequently refer to one another as their best friend.

....and now we have moved inside for some dessert....yummy ice cream cones at Caden's super cool Thomas the Train table!

Hi Everyone,

Kellen has been super busy this past month...he moved up to the junior preschool room at daycare and has been loving his new teachers and new toys!!!

He has also been completely potty trained (for pee, atleast)....we are still battling the poops as he seems to refuse to poop in the toilet....this has made for many, many, many loads of laundry and many gags as we try to clean up the mess.....

Kellen is a talking machine these days....he fully has a conversation with you now. If we go outside and it's cold, he will say something like "Momma, it is cold outside...we need our sweater done up" He also likes to look at you with a stern look on his face and say "You stay here, I go do it all by myself, okay Momma?" (he also shakes his finger at you while saying this)...very cute! He also likes to say things like "Oh, thank you! I am so happy now!", "That was delicious! It is yummy in my tummy!", and "Sure, I would love that!!" Finally, Kellen is all about speaking in spanish...he will randomly just break into spanish....he would make his Lita very proud! Nathalie posted a video of my Abuelito playing guitar while my mom (?) sings in spanish...Kellen loves to watch this video - he says Abito (Abuelito) is speaking Dora (spanish)!

Finally - we have not been able to post any pictures since I lost the cord that connects the camera to the computer (and which connects it to the charger)....luckily, we are under warranty and I will be hopefully getting a brand new camera soon!!! Soooo, please be patient, because there are a billion new pictures on the way!!
