Family Time in Brockville

We have been incredibly lucky to have had many visits with our Abuelito while he has been visiting from Honduras. Here are some more pictures of our last 2 visits to Brockville. It has been so nice having the family together, and getting to spend time with our Abuelito.

Here are Abuelito and Kellen enjoying a quiet moment together.
Tia Levi, Abuelito, Lita and Mommy enjoying a family lunch.
Abuelito and his two girls.
....and Mommy getting into the mix.
.....and now Kennedy and Mackensie getting into the pictures.
I love this picture of Lita and Abuelito together - they were laughing at Kellen telling stories about flowers (as you can see in Lita's hair - Kellen was bringing them lots of flowers).
Kellen enjoying some time on a rock in Lita and Grandpa's garden. He could spend his entire visit in their garden - playing and digging in the dirt!
...and now, enjoying some quiet time on his favourite chair.
Parker and Kellen rule! Kellen was so excited that Parker was coming for a visit! Here they are quickly getting to work on putting together the Thomas train tracks.
....and here is beautiful baby Lauren!
....who was having lots of fun crawling all over Lita!
....and especially loved getting lovings from her Great Abuelito.
The Elliott family with Abuelito.....love it!
Lauren using Abuelito's lap to practice her standing.
Two grand-daughter's having a beautiful moment with their Abuelito -and getting a chance to have a picture taken with their Abuelito and his newest great grandchildren....how lucky are we?
Kisses for the beautiful and adorable baby Lauren...
Perfect. The oldest and youngest members of our family sharing a beautiful moment.
Mommy and Kellen having fun together....boy, do I love this kid!
Kellen playing on the little pony - which is really for Lauren (don't tell Kellen that he is too big for it!).
Tia Levi, Abuelito, Lauren and Parker hanging out and listening to music.
Everyone is crazy for Lauren - and can you blame them!?!??
Lauren was having a great time being fed raspberries by Abuelito - she would open her mouth up like a little bird and just wait for him to feed her another one....and the moment she was finished with one raspberry, she would point and grunt to the bowl wanting another - too cute!
Grandpa and Parker sharing a laugh together.
Auntie April, Mommy and their Abuelito.
I love this picture of April and Abuelito together.
Uncle Garrett and Lauren hanging out.
Auntie April, Grandpa and Abuelito after April gave out their Father's Day cards and gifts...there was not a dry eye in the house after this (Thanks, April!).
It was Mackensie's 18th birthday celebration this weekend - I cannot believe she is already 18 (boy, am I old!).
....and I am not sure if it was Mackensie already being 18, or the fact that we are all really old that made April cry....
AAAHHHH!!!! Oh wait, it is only Uncle Garrett!
Lita and Parker strutting their best dance moves.....Parker was doing his best butt shaking move here.
.....and now Kellen is in on the action - his dance moves are not quite as smooth (or follow an actual beat as Parker's do) - but he sure does love to dance!
Nothing beats listening to Abuelito play the guitar - it brought tears to our eyes (in a good way!).

The family group shot! What a lucky and blessed bunch.

The Fair Is In Town!!

This past week, the fair has been in town! We took Kellen last year, but he didn't really get it. This year, he really had a blast! He could barely contain his excitement everyday that we drove past the fair - and when it was finally time for him to actually go to the fair, he was beyond thrilled. His favourite ride was this little fire truck that went up and down (it moved kind of like a ferris wheel). He would squeal with delight and say "I can see my daycare from here!". We went on the ride about 7 times!
Then we tried out the Spinning Strawberries...I must be getting old because I do not remember the spinning feeling so loopy before!
....And then back to the Fire Truck Ride with Daddy.
...And asking to go on again right after the ride came to an end.
But we decided to head over to the Merry-Go-Round. Kellen's horse was the fastest horse on the entire ride (according to Kellen)!

Hey, who is that cute little guy riding in that car!??!?
It's Kellen! There was little cars and little motorcycles for the toddlers to ride....it was pretty cute.
Kellen is going to be that kid who loves fast roller coasters! There was a ride that he barely made the height cut off for, and he really wanted to go on it...it was a Dragon Roller Coaster. I was actually surprised with how fast and jolty the ride was - but, Kellen loved every minute of it!! I think I screamed more than he did!
Behold...the Dragon!

We had fun with Sharlene, Raymond and Caden as well. Then, we ran into Sophie (Kellen's best friend from daycare) with her Mommy. Kellen and Sophie spent most of their time together - holding hands and running up to different rides to go on together - it was pretty adorable!
Mommy and Kellen finishing up on a ride.

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

Happy Father's Day to all the great fathers!! To celebrate Father's Day, we spent the day at the Pickering Beach. It was beautiful weather and the beach was amazing! We brought all of Kellen's digging toys, as well as his fishing rod. We had lots of fun, and I think Daddy had a great day!

Here are Kellen and Mommy dipping our toes in the lake (the waves were huge....honestly, it looked like the ocean!).
Chasing Daddy down the beach.
Stopping to look back at me - and wondering why I always have to take his picture!
Daddy and Kellen!
I think Kellen was enjoying this moment a bit more than Daddy - check out the look on Daddy's face!
Okay - now they are both having fun!
Kellen loved the beach - for the huge amount of sand alone! He spent most of his time digging in the sand.
But he found time to pull out his fishing rod to try and catch a couple of fish (we didn't).
....still fishing.
And now back to collecting water to make mud.
Here he is trying to explain to me how to make mud.

Uhmmm....a sand castle?
Here is Kellen pretending to be a monster that jumps on sand castles.
Oooooh, geese! The moment Kellen saw the geese coming up to shore, he broke out into a sprint to see them. Unfortunately, they did not share the same sentiment, and quickly took cover back in the water.
Getting excited that the geese might be coming back to see him.....they didn't.
Being all cool while lying in the sand and watching water coming up to wash away his sand creations.

And now, Kellen has lost his pants! His pants got pretty wet (two pairs got pretty wet!)...so, he stripped down to his underwear. And, when his underwear got wet, he took those off too (and we had to find the least wet of his two pairs of shorts to put on him!).

And what is a day at the beach without an ice cream cone! Here is Kellen thoroughly enjoying his ice cream on the way home.
