Our Days of Being Silly

 Our typical day goes something like this:  Kellen and I get Sarah up and play together on her floor mat in her room.  Kellen brings every single stuffed animal from his room, as well as his doctor kit to Sarah's room for our little playdate.  Then, we go downstairs for breakfast (and Sarah watches us eat).  Then, Sarah has her first nap, and this is when Kellen and I get dressed and make our beds.  The rest of the day is broken up with playing, sleeping, eating, and going for a walk.  

Sarah's newest thing to do is to cover her face with her dresses and play peek-a-boo!  It is pretty cute!

Family Trip to the Zoo

 Last weekend, we went to the Toronto Zoo.  It was super busy and super hot - but we had a great time looking at all of the animals - and playing in the huge water/splash park!

 Shawn and the kids - Sarah was out cold about 10 minutes after we arrived - she slept for a couple of hours  in her stroller (which she never does)!

Let's Go Swimming!

 During Lita's last visit, she stayed at a hotel on her last night - and the kids were able to go swimming at the pool.  Kellen proudly pulled Thomas suitcase through the hotel.

 Sarah didn't really get what was going on - but she was amused by the elevator.

 Sarah was super super mellow in the pool.  Lita was walking around with her, and Sarah just sucked her thumb, or just was hanging out.   I think she liked the pool a lot!

Lita's Visit

 Last month, Lita came for a visit - and we had so much fun together!  Sarah also learned how to roll over that week - so she spent most of Lita's visit showing off her new skill (and she was up every 2 hours practicing her rolling, and I had to go in to roll her back onto her back.....but that is a whole other story)  Here are some pictures of Sarah and Lita hanging out together.  Sarah loves to squeal (it really almost sounds like a scream) when she is super excited and happy - that is what she was doing with Lita in these pictures - it was making Lita laugh!

 ....but, she took a break from trying to stand and squeal to play with the remote control....oooh, look at all of those colours....

 Sarah has also started eating cereal.  She eats cereal twice a day now!  Here is Lita feeding Sarah her lunch.

 Yummy cereal!  Sarah loves to chew on the spoon - every time you put the spoon in her mouth, you need to leave it there for a second so that she can chew on it.

 Lita and I also made a huge fruit salad (since Kellen can never get enough fruit!).  Here is Kellen enjoying his 10th bowl of the day!

Playing with the Phone

 Sarah loves to play with my phone - she finds it pretty cool how the screen moves when she touches it!  She especially loves the camera (well, Kellen really likes when she plays with the camera!)   Here is a picture that Kellen took of Sarah playing with the remote control (her other favourite thing to play with).  And, another picture that Sarah took of herself while playing with the camera on my phone.
