A Morning with Sarah

Sarah is so full of energy - she just wants to play and be with you all the time!  Here she is after her morning nap - she loves to stand in her crib.  The moment (literally - the moment) she wakes up, she bounces right up and walks (while holding onto the crib) to the window to play with the window shades.
 Enjoying a piece of toast....yummy!

And now - continuing to stand up every chance she gets.  Here she is - reaching for anything that she can get her hands on.
 I see you!

Kellen's Favourite Place

One of Kellen's school projects was to talk about (and bring pictures) of his favourite place to go in the community.  Kellen chose the ice cream shoppe that we like to go to (they use marble slab to mix anything that you want into your ice cream!).  They were really friendly when we told them about his project - so they let him go behind the counter to help make his own ice cream!  Here are some pictures of Kellen showing us his favourite place to be!

Siblings Chillin'

Sarah has a blast just being around Kellen (and the feeling is pretty mutual!).  The moment Kellen is around, she will just stare at him,and start making crazy noises.  She is also starting to mimic him - if he makes a certain noise, she will try to make the same noise.  If he is being silly, she will do the same thing; and if he is just relaxing, she will just sit and relax with him....very cute!
 Love!

Sarah loves her snacks!

Sorry that it has been a while since my last blog entry - Google now wants us to pay each month to continue with blogs (not impressed).  Anyways, it is all taken care of, and the blog can now continue!

Sarah just had her 9 month appointment today.  She only gained 1 pound (and a bit) since her last check up, so now she is only in the 90th percentile!  She is now just over 22 pounds!  She is a just shy of 29 inches - big girl!  She is also a bit ahead of the curve in regards to her crawling and standing!

Sarah loves her food! Here she is eating cheerios while hanging out on the couch!  What a cutie!  Don't you just love the mess!

 Yummy!
On another note - she also loves the remote control!
 What a great smile!

My Precious Boy

Two weeks ago, Kellen had a Halloween playdate with two of his good friends - Liam and John.  We had lots of fun hanging out at John's house - and the kids had lots of fun in their costumes!
On Halloween day, Kellen's school at a Halloween Parade.  I didn't tell Kellen that we were coming to see him in the parade (just in case Sarah couldn't make it without a nap).  Here is his class coming down the sidewalk....

...and if you look down the line (not at his friend, Malcom- who is also dressed like the Green Lantern!), you will see Kellen - the pure excitement and absolute joy and happiness he showed when he saw us, just melted my heart.  He was just so happy to see us.

He was so proud....look at that beautiful smile.
 Looking at Sharlene.
He kept looking back at us, and smiling and waving.  I am so so happy that we went to see him.  The look on his face was worth every minute - I seriously almost started crying with happiness (silly, sappy mommy!)

Halloween Time!

This past Halloween was a cold, and rainy, one!  But, the weather didn't dampen Kellen's excitement for going out trick-or-treating!  Here he is super, super excited to be going out to collect candies!  He was dressed as the Green Lantern!

Kellen and Sarah (dressed as a little pumpkin) hanging out with Daddy - had lots of fun dressing up for Halloween together.
 ....and hanging out with mommy.
Sarah looking super cute sitting with the pumpkins.

I love this picture!  They are so darn adorable together!
 Happy Halloween!
One excited little boy ready to get going!
 My babies.

 Peek-a-boo!  I see a baby pumpkin!
 Ta-da!
Prior to Halloween, Kellen got into the spirit by helping Daddy with the pumpkins.  He was trying to draw a face on the pumpkins (but the ink kept smearing)!

I love these next pictures - Sarah was so excited to play with Kellen - she would squeal whenever he came close by.
 Going for the eyes....
....and the head....Sarah is a baby bully:)
Sarah looks so small in comparison to her pumpkin - what a cutie:)

Daddy hard at work carving our pumpkins.

Focus on your Feeding, Baby Girl!

Sarah is all about playing while I try to feed her.  She will move around throughout her meal - so she ends up with food all over her!  Then, she will smear it all over her face and hair!  What a cutie!

I love this picture of her!
Notice how her hair is standing up all by itself now!
Trying to figure out how to get her head under the strap.
