Stories and Cameron's Birthday

 Sometimes, Sarah will join us for stories at bedtime (when Kellen has an early bedtime).  Kellen loves to have her sit on his lap and listen to his bedtime stories - Sarah is more interested  in trying to eat the book!

 Two weeks ago was Cameron's 3rd birthday!  Here are Kellen and Cameron playing with their balloon swords that Shawn's dad made for them.

 Sarah is so busy these days.  She loves to practice her standing (with assistance); bouncing on your lap; trying to crawl; sitting up from a lying down position; and just squirming all over the place!  Here she is standing up at the couch - she is getting so big!

 She loves all of Kellen's toys - especially his pretend food.  Here she is eating some bread and ketchup!

 ....and now we are getting ready to get Kellen from school - in her pretty blue jacket!

Bathtime

 Seriously - have you ever seen such a cute baby?!?!?!  Sarah has had a fever for the past couple of days (she is better now - thank goodness) but she would get pretty cold after her bath, and I would wrap her up in her towel.   She just looks so cute!!

 Now that Sarah can sit in her bath tube, she can have a bath with Kellen.  It is great to have both kids in the bath at the same time (and they love to play together in the bath).   Ahh, my babies!

Solids

 Sarah is kinda obsessed with food.  Honestly, you cannot eat anything in front of her, without her watching with the most hungry stare!  She has started eating solids a couple of weeks ago - she can eat toast, muffins, croissants (all cut into tiny pieces), and she eats her cheerios and puffs - she would eat steak and pizza if you left it unattended!

A Baby's Life

 Sarah is pretty intent on learning how to crawl.  She gets up on all 4, and sways, then brings her legs up - walks them forward, and tumbles (since she doesn't know what to do with her hands).  How is she already wanting to crawl!??!?

 She has also moved up into the bath ring!  Now, she can finally have a bath with Kellen!  She likes the ring so much more than the baby sling, because now she can play with her toys.

 And sometimes, she gets fixated on the television.  She will stop playing and just stare at the screen - it is pretty funny.

Chillin' and Playin'

 Kellen loves to play with Sarah on her playmat (Actually, I think that he likes the playmat toys more than she does!).  It is so sweet to watch them play together.

 Sarah loves to sit on Kellen's Elmo chair (she is pretty sure that it is HER chair...and she thinks that Elmo is real).  She looks so big sitting there!

Sarah's curiosity

 Sarah is so curious about every single thing going on around her.  Whenever I try to change her, she squirms around and wants to sit up to look out her window.  Here she is looking at the cars on the street.

 She also loves to sit on Shawn's shoulders to look around the house, or the backyard (she also loves to yank on his hair - ouch!).

 And, she loves to strike a pose while playing on the floor!
