Our Trip to the Bowmanville Zoo

Getting ready to head to the zoo! Here is Kellen sitting on the step while I put his hat and shoes on....he's thinking "let's go!!!!!"

But then he got side-tracked when he noticed that his shoes light up when he steps....


Hydrating before he starts to run around after the animals....


Checking out some animals with daddy...Kellen was totally fascinated by all the animals, especially if the animal made lots of noises! (he thought the birds were talking to him and would keep walking back toward them every time they "called" him!).


Petting the goats and checking out the chickens that were just wondering around...Kellen didn't know what to think of the goats - but he sure did love the baby goats!

"Ahhh...the chickens are attacking me!!!"

Kellen absolutely loved the baby goats...he kept running after them and getting really low to the ground to say hello to them (video to follow!). It was great to see how much he loved them..no fear!

Kellen was getting pretty sleepy by this point, but he still just wanted to run around (and find the baby goats!).

Checking out the tigers....it is a pretty small zoo (more like a petting zoo), but it had lots of cool animals (like the tigers, camels, elephants, lots of exotic birds, monkeys, and the lion!).
