Well, the day has finally arrived...Shawn and I put together Kellen's brand new big boy bed!!! Here it is all set up and ready for Kellen to see it! He was pretty excited to see it (especially once he saw the whole gang of his stuffed animals sitting in the bookshelf of the bed).
He really didn't like the side rails so we decided to not put it up right now....so, Kellen went to bed at 8:15 and as I'm typing this, we haven't heard from him since 8:50.....not too bad for his first night in his bed...and it doesn't even sound like he got out of his bed....this might work out!

I love your new bed, Kellen! Can't wait to read you stories before bedtime. I knew he would do well in his big boy's bed - yeah Kellen!
Two nights down, and both went great! Kellen can't wait to show you his new bed!!
