This past weekend, we went to Brockville (on route to Ottawa for a birthday surprise for Lita!). On Friday, Lita took us all to Mallorytown Landing (a natural beach near Brockville). Shawn and Kellen loved it! Naturally, Kellen wanted to play in the water for the majority of the time - so here are Shawn and Kellen playing in the water.

Kellen had this little routine of splashing in the water, racing Shawn to where Lita and I were sitting, drinking from his smoothie, then asking Shawn to run with him back to the water.....he did this about 20 times!

Then, we headed for a walk and hung out on the rocks near the surface of the water.

I love this picture! Lita was about to put Kellen's shirt back on, when he decided to play "catch me if you can" around this tree.....it was pretty funny to watch them run around the tree together!

Kellen was pretty impressed with this huge stick that he found.
.....so, he decided to chase Shawn with the stick.
A little reminder of who was playing in the sand.
More water time - this time he brought Lita down to the water for some splash time!
And then before we left, Kellen played in the huge tree house......it was lots of fun!

Loved the day at Mallorytown Landing. Couldn't have asked for better weather. The blue sky, the breeze, the sun, water, and the company. Great day. No pictures of Shawn holding Willow the snake??
We did have a great day for our beach-picnic! I was too busy running away from the snakes to take a picture of them!
