Kellen and I had a special date day today! It is coming to the end of the summer, so I am getting sentimental about having to go back to work and not getting time to hang out with Kellen as much. So, I decided to have a special day together!
We went to Kids Fun City, at Leslie/401. It is this amazing warehouse that has been converted into a super fun place for kids! Here we are checking out the toddler section.
And then we headed over to the big slides....except Kellen got a bit nervous having to climb up the tubes all by himself to get to the slides. We came back to the big slides a little later on.
Kellen loves all things made for little toddlers (I don't quite think he really knows how big he is now!)
Kellen thought the floor needed some cleaning. The place was super, super clean and well kept.
On another little toddler toy that he was too big for.
And now, he is brave enough for the slides!
"Hey....what's in here?"
Taking time out of driving his mini car to fill it up with gas.
Having a blast in the toddler area. He loved this little slide and climbing toy.
Beautiful and happy Kellen!
Kellen also loved playing on this mat, climbing thing - he spent lots of time here.
....doing weird things like this....
.....and this.
This place also had a mini golf section. Kellen has never been mini golfing before, so I thought it would be lots of fun. He didn't quite get the hang of it.....basically, he would push his ball to the hole.
Our mini golf area - 8 holes in total!
Caught red-handed!
Kellen found that mini golf worked better without his club - he preferred rolling his ball into the holes!
This place also had a little cafeteria where you could get snacks and lunch. They made your pizza for you once you ordered - so, the pizzas were super yummy and fresh! Kellen was super excited to have a slushie to go with his lunch!
Evidence of the blue slushie all over his face.
Behold, the giant slides!
Having fun in the kitchen - he was making bacon and cheese sandwiches!
They also have mini bowling! It is two little lanes that look like train tracks - it was super fun! Here is Kellen showing his super good bowling skills (using the bumper pads helps too!)
Yep, I tied with a 3 year old. No word of a lie, this was me trying to win!
Before we left, we went to the kid's disco! It is a room that is dark with little strobe lights and lots of fun music! Kellen had a blast busting out some really good dance moves!

Honest to goodness, you guys are so lucky! So many places to hang out and have fun - you'll have to go back and take me!
We do have lots of fun places to go and play!
Kellen would love to have a play date with his Lita!
