Okay, it is only the beginning of June, but already the weather is turning out to be too hot for Kellen! By the end of the week, the temperature is suppose to hit 33 degrees (and that's before the smog and humidity kick in!). So, since Kellen inherited his mother's inability to handle the hot weather, he has been hanging out in the tub alot more and loving every minute of it! He has truly become a master splasher and kicker! He also does this thing where he suddenly straightens out his legs and holds them really stiff on top of the water...very funny! If you're wondering if Kellen has gained weight, you would be right...I weighed him this morning and he's topping the scales at 15 pounds!
Here are some pictures of Kellen in his diaper just relaxing with mommy this morning! Kellen has been super active lately...he still loves to sit up (with help) and now if you just hold his hands and say "ready", he pulls up his legs to get ready to sit up...it is so cute! He continues to talk so much and is making so many more different noises...he has also found that he can be loud with his sounds! So every so often, he sort of yells out a noise to us!
Here is Kellen hanging out in is usual picture spot on the couch...we thought we would add this picture for Kathy since she is keeping track of Kellen's propped up pictures as he gets older.

For the propped up photos you should put something next to him for context so we can see how big he's getting!

And I still say he looks like Shawn's nephew!
I think he looks more and more like Claire. The older he gets the more he looks like Claire...good for you, mommy!
I think he's looking more like me too! It's the eyes and skin colouring.
