"Hey, I love that cool breeze...keep it coming!" I think that is what Kellen was trying to say here! The past 4 days have been unbelievably horrible for hot weather...over 40 degrees with the humidity! Since we don't have central air, Kellen has been having an all day and all night slumber party with us in the front where the air conditioner is. The cool air has been doing the trick...Kellen's naps have been about 30 minutes longer than average and for the first time ever, he has been going to bed at 6:30 every night with little crying! He sleeps for about 12 hours each night (still getting up every couple of hours to feed...but hey, one problem is gone...for now!).
Today Kellen has been the crankiest baby in the world! He has barely slept all day and won't stop fussing and crying! I think the heat has officially gotten to him....poor baby...and poor mommy! Here's hoping that once he finally does sleep, it is for a good chunk of time tonight!

These are just some pictures of Kellen hanging out while mommy was reading him some of his favourite stories...Hop on Pop is his favourite! Is it me, or have his chins gotten a bit, shall we say, "fuller"?

He is so chubby, Claire! Can't wait to hold him next week when you visit. I can only imagine what it's like in Toronto; even when you sit by the river, it feels super hot in Brockville. Kellen seems to be getting quite big, and absolutely beautiful!
