Kellen's 3rd Birthday Party!!!

Yesterday we celebrated Kellen's 3rd birthday by having a little birthday party bash at the house! The party was from 11-1..we had pizza, wings, caesar salad, fruit and of course....birthday cake! Here are some of the lovely ladies from his birthday party having some lunch!

And, here is beautiful baby Lauren!!! She was just lying on a blanket having fun looking around while everyone else had their lunch! She is soooo adorable!!

Here is Kellen's special birthday cake that we had made! It was chocolate with vanilla and raspberry buttercream layers ....and of course, Dora, Diego and Boots on top!!! It was delicious!!! I highly recommend Celebration Cakes in Ajax!

Mommy and Kellen opening presents....Kellen wasnt' too interested in actually opening the gifts until he noticed that there were presents in the bags and under the wrapping paper...then he was a very willing participant in opening the gifts! That was until he noticed people playing with his Thomas trains and decided he would rather go hang out with Thomas than open the rest of his gifts!

Mommy opening more of Kellen's presents while Kellen was happy to check out this really cool Dora birthday card from Parker! You pull a tab and the card becomes a story book that quickly flips through all the pictures to make a moving picture.....very cool!

Caden came over to help us open some of the presents....he was a great helper!

We decided to get Kellen a toddler's pinata! It pulls open and you can put whatever you want into it....the difference with a toddler pinata is that you have to pull ribbons at the bottom of the pinata to open it and get all the candies to fall out! The little ones weren't too sure what to expect....but thought it was cool when all of the candies fell out!

Mommy and Kellen opening birthday presents together. Kellen got so many nice things...lots of new outfits, so many toys that we have already put to use, awesome colouring and activity books, and so much more! He was spoiled rotten!!

Kellen thought it would be lots of fun to try and be just like Shawn! He put on Shawn's shoes and was walking around (well, more like sliding his feet around!) saying that he was like Daddy now with bbbbbbigggggg feet!

Watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (one of Kellen's new favourite shows....and it seems that everyone knows this by all the cool and amazing Mickey Mouse toys, blankets and cards he received for his birthday!!) ... Kellen was just relaxing in his Elmo chair with Grandpa.

Kellen's bouncy ball bounced and rolled under the table...Kellen must have had lots of fun going under the table to get the ball because he stayed there for a couple of minutes!!

By far, one of Kellen's favourite new toys is his Handy Manny (or as Kellen likes to call him "Handy Dandy"!)....he has been taking Handy Manny and his tools everywhere! He even wanted to watch Handy Manny last night while holding his new toy!!
